Her life was charmed, until it was not. Near destitute after the sudden death of her wastrel husband, Lady Pipworth must find a way to support herself and her young nieces until her brother returns home to assume his role as head of the family. Thanks to her three brothers that raised her, Adalia’s one outstanding skill in life is gambling, and with a dower house now at her disposal, plans to fill the coffers—scandal begetting or not—begin to take shape. A mysterious duke with one goal in mind. The Duke of Dellon is interested in nothing more than fulfilling the needs of running his ducal estate. As for a wife and an heir—he will get to it, eventually—as long as it fits neatly into his orderly life. But when a long-ago vow rears, landing upon his shoulders, he obligingly sets out to do what is required of him—stop Lady Pipworth from the foolery of operating a gaming house. And, if he should need to, marry the woman. A vow invoked from the grave leads to a secret that could destroy everything. Her gaming house a success, the last thing Adalia wants is an arrogant duke poking into her affairs. But when a sudden death threatens the very thing she holds dearest, can she possibly trust the one man that can save her and her nieces? Note: The books in the Revelry’s Tempest series by K.J. Jackson are each stand-alone stories and can be read individually in any order. These historical romances are set in the Regency and Victorian eras, and do not shy away from scenes with steamy heat, occasional naughty language, and moments that might possibly make you squirm.

A past she needs to right. A bargain he has to make. An attraction neither can deny. A wary widow. No stranger to love, Lady Desmond is well-versed in the heartache that can accompany it. Burned by her traitorous heart again and again, Cass has determined her life will include only what she can control—and has made her work as the proud proprietress of the Revelry’s Tempest gaming hall her sole mission. A reluctant viscount. Inheriting an English title was not something American Rorrick Trowlson wanted in life, nor was the mess that came with the title. His brother’s mess. A mess he now has to clean up. But to do so, he needs a tract of land his brother flippantly lost in a stupid bet at the Revelry’s Tempest. A past that needs to be righted. After mistaking her for a madam of a brothel, Cass wants nothing to do with the brash American—until she realizes he may be just the key to righting her deepest regret. She strikes a bargain with Rorrick—take her to America and she will sign the land back to him. As the spark between them quickly turns into a flame, Cass resists, as she had sworn long ago to never be careless with her heart again. Once, twice, she had been a fool—but three times would be the death of her. But can a brazen American with a new title batter down the stalwart defenses of a widowed countess? An unwanted marriage turns tragic. Raymond, Viscount Marblethorpe, eldest son to Elisa and stepson to Vaughn Wardell, casts off the solitary confines of a mourning widower to seek the company of his extended family. His sharp-eyed cousins and siblings refuse to let him lie to himself, even if he must deceive the ton to save the family from yet another scandal. The Rose of Ebony novelette is an introduction to the spin-off series following the historical romances of Scandalous Sirens. Scandalous Scions brings together the members of three great families, to love and play under the gaze of the Victorian era’s moralistic, straight-laced society. Reader Advisory: This story contains frank sex scenes and sexual language. This story is part of the Scandalous Scions series: 0.5 Rose of Ebony 1.0 Soul of Sin 2.0 Valor of Love 3.0 Marriage of Lies 4.0 Mask of Nobility 5.0 Law of Attraction …and more to come! A Sexy Historical Romance ___ Praise for Rose of Ebony This is a good start to a new series. I love reading any story Tracy Cooper-Posey writes. This one grabbed my attention and I couldn't put it down until I was done. Oh, how I wish this story was longer; goes without saying that I'm grabbing book two in the series. I love Victorian London books and this one was read with great expectations for a wonderful story, and it did not disappoint. Another great series is starting and it looks like it will be great just like all the other series by this author. Wow, As soon as I started Tracys Cooper Posey first book in her new spin off series Scandalous Scions I was hooked. Thank you Tracy for introducing me to this wonderful series. Ok here goes again! I never expected Tracy to leave me perched on the edge of a cliff, but she has succeeded. Having not read any historical romances before, I was amazed how quickly I immersed into this novella. Tracy describes the setting so beautifully that the imagery takes you back to that era in the past where traditions are so different from today.

A lady out for vengeance collides with the one man that can stand in her way. The lady bent on vengeance. Lady Canton has a list. A list of men she is ruining, one by one. The work is satisfying—as each and every one of the despicable men deserves it—and if Livia has to bend the rules of propriety for success—so be it. What she doesn’t anticipate is a past love barging into her life, determined to stop her. The man that will stand in her way. Lady Canton threw him over years ago to marry a lecherous old fool for his title, so the last thing Lord Reggard wants is to entangle himself with her again. But when Livia threatens to ruin one of his best friends, Tieran is forced to take matters into his own hands to stop her. A second chance at first love. Livia never stopped loving him, and Tieran is intent on using that fact to his advantage. Never mind the callousness of his actions—his loyalty to Livia died years ago and he has no desire to revisit the past with her. Yet the past may be the one thing Tieran cannot escape, and he may very well discover he never stopped loving her as well. Note: The books in the Lords of Action series by K.J.
